Reverse Engineering Competitive Products

Much time and effort has been spent on reverse engineering off the shelf hardware products. We analyzed these technologies in order to understand components/sensors, features, manufacturing, and pricing.

We analyzed the shortcomings of sensors used in these products. We learnt if the printed layer of Force Sensing Resistors is off by just a few microns, there can be poor touch feedback, something that is very noticeable by a musician. We are now in the process of designing custom sensors in order to have top notch accuracy and response.
